Don't confuse me with the facts.

There's been a lot of discussion of late about people who form an opinion based on a general perception of someone while ignoring the facts relevant to the particular issue. Cases in point (1) the birthplace of the President and (2) whether the prior President and the CIA had advance knowledge of 9/11.

The moral, of course, is that the people of all shades of politics are willing to ignore the facts when it suits them. Here's a nice discussion.
