Truth, or the lack thereof, comes in many forms. Consider this headline from the BBC.

"More US workers lost jobs last year than in any year since World War II..."[1]

What's wrong with this? In absolute numbers the statement is correct, but as a percent of the population it is very misleading. As the article itself notes further on, unemployment is the highest in 16 years. That's not a number to be sneezed at, but it is a little less frightening than the leading bold face statement.
