Has John McCain kissed off California? And maybe Florida? While talking about the cost of gasoline, both John McCain and the President are pushing for offshore oil drilling. Will offshore drilling lower the cost of your gasoline sooner than just producing more efficient cars? Not likely. Will it get the oil companies to contribute to his political welfare? Probably.
