In the face of resistance from some senior advisors in his own administration, the President has authorized an estimated $400 million to support clandestine operations in and against Iran. Seymour Hersh, one of America's most reputable investigative journalists, reports in The New Yorker that operations in Iran involve the CIA and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
