Someone once noted that wine was just grape juice on it's way to becoming vinegar. The moral: drink while you may. And then we discover that growing up is just youth on the way to growing old. It's happening *gasp* to Southern California, the land of eternal sunshine, the Beach Boys, and youth forever. A few days ago the state announced that they would close San Onofre beach, long a haven for the frolicsome no-tan-lines crowd of nude sun worshipers. And now it's the Mooning of the Trains an annual ritual sponsored by Mugs Away Saloon across Camino Capistrano from the train track that carries both Amtrak and Metrolink trains in Laguna Niguel. This year's crowd of merry makers estimated at 8-10 thousand, shut down today by the police after 29 years. Is nothing sacred?
