The race card. Regardless of who started it, it's a distraction from worthwhile campaign topics. But we can't just push reset and undo the wasted time. Nor can we muzzle the plethora of drama queens who won't give up on the topic. The First amendment protects everybody rights, the good, the bad, and the ugly. So somehow we must deal responsibly with it. Here's an attempt. Note especially the words of conservative Douglas Mackinnon found at the end of the commentary.
